Get to know Andrea Carroll, the official dirty girl behind Dirty Girl Hats.

The Past

Andrea Carroll opened her first business in 1985 in Halifax NS; she was a small fashion clothing atelier.

In 1988, Andrea moved to Montreal for an industry job in fashion advertising

In 1992 her official hatting journey began!

Of course, life happened, and her business of making custom, handmade hats went on hiatus... for 20 years(!)

After moving back home to NS, Andrea unpacked her hat-making supplies and hasn't looked back!

She is once again on fire with a passion for hatting... And painting... And riding the back roads on her vintage '72 Triumph Bonneville.
